'Naruto' Teases the Mystery of Boruto's New Hand Mark

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations just hit a major milestone episode to conclude its "vs. Momoshiki" arc, and episode 66, "My Story!" begins to pick up the pieces of Boruto's world, in the aftermath of the drastic events of the Chunin Exams and the Otsutsuki attack. However, in addition to many lingering plot threads and character conflicts, Boruto epsiode 66 also paves way for the series' next big developments - including the subtle but important official reveal of oneBoruto's mysterious new power-ups after defeating Momoshiki.

That power comes in the form of a hand seal that appears as a black square (or diamond) in the palm of Boruto's hand. The seal was left there after the bizarre meeting between Boruto and Momoshiki Otsutsuki on the spiritual plane, in the instant the villain's body was destroyed by Boruto and Naruto's combined Rasengan attack. Momoshiki took hold of Boruto's hand, delivering the following proclomation before leaving the seal imprinted on the young Genin:

"Now I understand... You have strongly inherited the power of the Otsutsuki. However, you are still inexperienced. You cannot see through you own destiny... I can see your destiny very clearly. Beware. Those blue eyes shall eventually... take everything from you! And know this... Those who defeat gods cannot remain ordinary individuals. Reflect well upon they fate... as you proceed in life... human child."

The seal left on Boruto's hand will clearly hold importance as the series move fowards - and fans of the Boruto manga already know just how significant it will be!

Boruto's seal is referred to as "Kama" in the manga, and its power allows him to absorb jutsu - at first unwillingly and at great expense to his own body, but over the years he learns to master it, and the seal spreads across his body, becoming the intricate design we see in the series' opening flash-forward sequence of an adult Boruto as a hardened Shinobi.

The seal is revealed to be obtained by a warrior slaying a member of the Otsutsuki Clan, making Boruto one of two shinobi to possess it. The other Kama user is Kawaki, the mysterious shinobi that Boruto is seen fighting in the series opening scene. It's not revealed how Kawaki came to possess his Kama mark, but his powers mirror Boruto's own unique abilities, making him both a serious rival, and the pawn of a shady new organization named "Kara," which has already begun infiltrating Hidden Leaf's Scientific Ninja Team.

'Boruto's Latest Episode Features Adorable 'Naruto' Reunion

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations just had a major shift for the series with Episode 65, and now the Chunin Exams arc first seen in Boruto: Naruto the Movie has finally wrapped with the latest episode.

In order to put things in a tidy new bow, the episode began with a much beloved family reunion of both the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans.

After the huge battle with Momoshiki wrapped, Naruto, Boruto, and Sasuke returned back to Konoha with Hinata, Himawari, Sarada, and Sakura waiting in tow. This happy family reunion was sure a great moment for fans of both Boruto and the original series as it proves just how far everyone's come in such a short time.

Just as the final moments of the battle with Momoshiki sees Naruto and Sasuke pass on the torch to Boruto, this also settles most of their family drama. Throughout the first arcs of the series, Boruto was angry at his absentee father. But Naruto and Boruto have made great strides in their relationship since then, and now have a respect for one another as father and son.

The same can be said for Sasuke, who also learned to not be so distant with his wife and daughter after they were attacked. It's a perfect way to capture such a big change in all the characters in such a small moment.

For those unfamiliar with Naruto, it has quite a storied history. Originally created by Masashi Kishimoto, the series ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for 700 chapters. The story follows Naruto, a young ninja with a sealed demon within him that wishes to become the leader of his home village. The sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is set several years after the events of the original Naruto story and featuring the children of many of its key characters such as Naruto and Hinata.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations recently made TV Tokyo's list of Top 5 Anime in sales and profits, coming third in sales and fifth and profits. The anime has been such a success that the Naruto franchise as a whole stills holds a top spot in many anime profits rankings as well. The series even managed to cross 235 million copies of the manga sold worldwide. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was even given a major bump of approval as it just took over a more familiar timeslot, airing in the same time and day that its predecessor Naruto: Shippuden once did.

New 'My Hero Academia' Stills Tease New Quirks

My Hero Academia now has the Provisional Hero License Exam in full swing, and as fans already witnessed, it's going to take a ton of effort just to pass the preliminary stage of the exam as Midoriya's stuck in a giant battle royale.

This also means fans will be introduced to brand new Quirks, as new image tease rival hero schools Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu unleashing their Quirks in order to pass on to the next stage of the exam as they close in on Midoriya.

My Hero Academia Episode 54 is titled "Shiketsu High Lurking!" and the synopsis reads as such (thanks to Twitter user @aitaikimochii, who also spotted the preview images):

"A New Finishing Blow to Fight Back Against the Resolve to "Crush U.A." The First round of the Provisional License Exam starts! The other students aim to obliterate the students of U.A., but Deku and the others come up with a new finishing blow as their opposing attack!"

The more interesting bit comes from the second part of the synopsis, which teases Camie's odd approach to Midoriya, "Deku gets separated with the others during their plan to oppose the "Crush U.A." agenda, and encounters Shiketsu Academy's Camie. Even though she's a rival, what is her reason for coming close to Deku!"

Not only will fans see new Quirks, they'll also see the debut of one of the most anticipated anime adapted characters, Shiketsu's Camie.

The story follows Izuku Midoriya, who lives in a world where everyone has super powers but he was born without them. Dreaming to become a superhero anyway, he's eventually scouted by the world's best hero All Might and enrolls in a school for professional heroes. The series has been collected into 15 volumes so far, and has been licensed by Viz Media for an English language release since 2015.

My Hero Academia's first movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, is scheduled to open August 3 in Japan and later in the U.S theaters this Fall. The film recently premiered at Anime Expo 2018 to heaps of praise from those in attendance. The film will cover a story not seen in the original manga with series creator Horikoshi noting that, "Of course the movie will be filled with Class A’s great efforts, that character’s past that hasn’t been in the manga yet, flashy action scenes, and much more." The film also previously revealed its first key visual depicting a character fans have never seen before, and a trailer revealing an All Might in his prime. 

'My Hero Academia' Reveals One Pro Hero's True Alliance

You might think the line between heroes and villains is an easy one to spot, but My Hero Academia doesn’t think so. While the series has its undeniable heroes, there are some who toe the line between good and evil... and one of those characters revealed their real status to fans.

If you are caught up with My Hero Academia, then you will know its most recent chapter dove into one Pro Hero’s surprising past. With Endeavor gravely hurt, it falls to Hawks to save the new No. 1 Hero, but it turns out the young pro has a secret.

As it turns out, Hawks is working for the League of Villains on the sly, but he is doing so under orders from some stuffy executives at his Hero Agency.

Yes, Hawks has found himself in a big pickle here. He is a good guy playing a bad guy who is actually a good guy. The web he’s weaving to suss out the League of Villains is a dangerous one, and it doesn’t seem to be sitting with the hero all too well.

“So, while I’m in with them, what am I to do with the damage they’ll cause? Just turn a blind eye,” Hawks is seen asking the men assigning him this new job.

“It’s a favor befitting a man who can turn a blind eye. One who does not care about honor or fame. One who is strictly forward-thinking. We believe there is no better person for the job than you.”

While Hawks may be good at bluffing, this recent set-up is hitting him harder than expected. Not only did Dabi switch up the plans last minute, but High-End dealt permanent damage to Endeavor. The No. 1 hero may have survived, but it came at a great cost, and Hawks isn’t keen on being associated with the bloody exchange.

'Attack On Titan' Director Confirms Season 3 Cour Count

Attack on Titan is back, and the anime has more in store for fans than ever before. Not long ago, the show’s director sat down to chat about its brand-new season, and it looks like Attack on Titan has plenty of episodes in store for fans.

Recently, Attack on Titan released an in-house interview its team did with Tetsuro Araki. The director shared his thoughts about the show and its recent return. So, the director figured it was time to confirm the show would have two parts.

When asked which character will be the focus of season three, Araki told fans they needed to keep an eye on Krista — or Historia — for now.

“As of now, I can say that she’ll be the main focus for the first half of season three.”

Shortly after the interview went live, fans were given further confirmation from Attack on Titanregarding the two-cour season. Info about season three’s Blu-ray and DVD went live, and its sectioned release let fans know there would be multiple cours coming. So far, no official episode count has been released, but anime seasons usually order anywhere between 21-25 episodes for a two-cour project.

Recently, the first episode of season three went live, and Attack on Titan wasn’t shy with the debut. The explosive episode followed up with Levi’s squad after Eren escaped his captor’s last season, but things are looking dark these days. With Paradis’ royalty on the hunt for Eren and Historia, Levi has to keep his charges safe, but a murderous ghost from his past has plans to sweep the pair right from under Levi.

Starting its run in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2009, the series has been collected into 23 volumes as of 2017. It's set in a world where the last remnants of humanity live within a walled city in order to escape the danger of the Titans, a race of giants monsters that eats humans. Eren Yeager joins the military with his two childhood friends Mikasa and Armin after the Titans break through the wall and attack his hometown.

'Fairy Tail' Season 1 Available Free For Limited Time

It is set in a fantasy world full of magic, and Natsu Dragneel is a fire breathing wizard with the powers of a dragon, and is in search of his missing foster father, the dragon Igneel. As he and his wizarding guild Fairy Tail get into adventures, Natsu always tries to find a way to succeed. The series ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2006 to July 2017 and has spawned 60 million copies. It was later adapted into an anime by A-1 Pictures, Dentsu Inc., and Satelight in 2009 and ended its first run in 2013. A second series ran from 2014 to 2016, and a third series is planned for a Fall release.

'My Hero Academia' Takes Ochaco's Crush On Izuku To New Heights

My Hero Academia has plenty of stories to tell, and it makes sure to give something for all you shippers out there. Izuku Midoriya may be concerned with becoming the world’s greatest hero, but that does not mean he can’t find an admirer along the way.

Just ask Ochaco Uraraka. After the anime’s latest episode, she knows she has a little something-something for her classmate.

If you are caught up with My Hero Academia, then you will season three is ready to dip into Ochaco feelings for Izuku nowadays. After being questioned about her love for the boy by Aoyama, the poor girl has been trying to push all the butterflies out of her stomach. And, as you can guess, her plan doesn’t work out so well.

The show’s latest episode follow Ochacho as she has a girls’ night in with her classmates. The group talks about the upcoming license exam they’ve got, but Ochaco is busy thinking about Izuku. Eventually, the girls figure out what has Ochaco all riled up, and they begin questioning her.

As it turns out, Ochaco is unwilling to admit the scope of her crush even to herself. She winds up using her Quirk to make herself float out of the others’ reach thanks to her growing embarrassment, and Ochaco gets confused when she starts blushing. Then, all of that curiosity flies away when she floats towards a window and finds Izuku training outside. The heroine does a complete turnaround as she fawns over the sight, totally unaware of how bad she has fallen for her close friend. However, the audience gets a good idea of Ochaco’s true feelings thanks to the scene’s overly romantic music and pastel background. Now, fans have to wait for the girl to reach the realization for herself.
